Renee Perez

Renee Perez, founder of Access Paralegal Services, is a highly accomplished paralegal with over 20 years of legal experience. Renee has an extensive commercial and business litigation background that spans a wide array of complex areas, including oil and gas, employment, intellectual property, DTPA, personal injury, product liability, general liability, and bankruptcy. She has experience in both state and federal courts, as well as domestic and international arbitration.

Her impressive career includes a long tenure at an AmLaw 200 firm and an in-house role with a national retail chain. Renee brings a comprehensive legal skill set and a proven ability to work with great autonomy. Renee thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about legal technology, continually seeking innovative ways to deliver efficient and effective legal support. Renee holds a Paralegal Certificate, an AAS in Paralegal Studies, and a BA in Law and Business from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies.

Renee is not only highly experienced but also deeply committed to the paralegal profession's advancement. As an active leader in the paralegal community, Renee has been a member of Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association (HMPA) since 2012, joining its board of directors in 2019, and completing two terms as its President. She currently serves as their Community Service Chair. Renee also maintains memberships with NALA and Women in eDiscovery (Houston Chapter). Additionally, Renee serves as a volunteer Child Advocate for Harris County's Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program.
